Dee Wright
was an example of Christian love and outreach. His leadership
and service has dearly touched so many within our church and
community. In the sense, the C. Dee Wright Community Ministry
Center is to reach out to the needs of our community. Currently
the Wright Center houses offices for the Akron Soccer
League and the Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center.
Download the
Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center brochure here. Soon the
office for the visually impaired will been completed by the
Lion’s Club of Akron as a place for people with visual and other
disabilities can come and find assistance and guidance.
Dr. Dawn Strangus will be holding Stress Management classes this
winter and spring. Her seminars will focus on youth as well as
adults dealing with stress and anxiety.

Dawn Strangus here.
As the Wright Center is air conditioned, it
makes a very comfortable place to host our Vacation Bible School
during the sultry days of July. Whether it is an adult learning
class, scouting event, soccer league banquet or a seminar for
the visually impaired, the C. Dee Wright Community Ministry
Center is growing to meet the outreach needs of our village and
community.
