What Should I do?
Do you not know that in a race, all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize– 1 Corinthians 9:24.
When you study the life of Jesus, you will notice a distinct pattern. Jesus faithfully lived in a purposeful way. Jesus modeled the Christian life for you. You would do well to follow his example– to act like Jesus.
3 Compelling Reasons to get involved in Believe
Know what you believe and why it matters
Explore the big ideas about God,
Concepts about God that have been around a long time.
These ideas can be intimidating.
BELIEVE boils it down to the top ideas in the bible:
Key beliefs, Key practices and Key virtues
People who are sure of what they believe
are difference makers
The power of BELIEVE is moving beliefs
from our heads to our hearts
which transforms behavior.
How did Christianity grow from one man: Jesus,
to over half the western world in three and a half centuries?
Christians radical response to crises and issues
in their personal lives and society around them
in a way they believed the teachings of Jesus.
What they believed determined how they acted.
Kids need to know what they believe, and why,
to stay true to faith
The majority of young people leave their faith
when they leave home.
BELIEVE gives parents and children an opportunity
to talk about our beliefs, practices and virtues (values).
“It can be just as important to help our kids articulate their un-beliefs as it is to articulate and live out their beliefs,
(actions and virtues (values)).
